Courtland Sutton Makes A Statement Against Jaguars
3 years agoDenver Broncos wide receiver Courtland Sutton started the season off slow with just one catch for 14 yards in Week 1 in his first game since tearing his ACL in Week 2 of last season. He showed that he's 100 percent healthy in the Week 2 win over the Jacksonville Jaguars, though, catching nine of 12 targets for a team-high 159 yards. Sutton's catches and targets were also team-highs by a wide margin on Sunday. The 25-year-old was quarterback Teddy Bridgewater's clear No. 1 target with Jerry Jeudy (ankle) out, and he also had long gains of 55, 33 and 16 yards. The Broncos may not have to throw much to beat the New York Jets in Week 3, but fantasy managers should now feel comfortable locking Sutton into their starting lineups as a WR2/3.
