Corey LaJoie Shows Well With 12th-Place Run In Charlotte
6 years agoGo FAS Racing driver Corey LaJoie ended up finishing in 12th place at the Coca-Cola 600 at Charlotte Motor Speedway on Sunday. He surprised with a ninth-place showing in the Monster Energy Open on May 18, and he carried the momentum over into the circuit's longest mileage race of the season. He has finished 12th or better in two of the previous four points races, including a season-best 11th-place run at Talladega Superspeedway on April 28. He'll try to keep up the good work at Pocono. LaJoie has three Cup starts under his belt at Pocono, finishing 25th, 28th and 39th, so he isn't someone to rely upon for fantasy purposes despite the strong showing in Charlotte.
