Cooper Kupp Expected To Play In Week 9
Cooper Kupp (ankle) is dealing with "tissue swelling in his ankle," but he is still expected to play in the Week 9 showdown against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. Kupp, the WR1 in fantasy last season, tweaked his ankle at the tail end of the Week 8 loss to the division-rival San Francisco 49ers on Sunday and was seen limping after the game, but he apparently dodged a serious injury and is not expected to miss a game. Fantasy managers will want to keep an eye on his practice participation this week, but as of now, you can plan on keeping the All-Pro pass-catcher in your starting lineups. If Kupp is limited at all, it could open up targets for Allen Robinson II, Ben Skowronek, tight end Tyler Higbee and Van Jefferson.
