The Washington Nationals selected LSU pitcher Cole Henry with the 55th overall pick in the second round in the 2020 MLB draft on Thursday. Henry was taken in the 38th round by the Tigers in 2018 because he was asking for first-round money. There have been some arm issues with Henry, but he was one of the most attractive draft-eligible sophomores in 2020. The right-hander has the potential to have three solid to plus pitches in his fastball, curveball and changeup. Henry's mechanics have been sloppy at times, but he has improved in that area in college and didn't have trouble throwing strikes in his freshman year.
