Montreal Canadiens winger Cole Caufield suffered a game-ending injury early in the second period against Calgary on Monday. He was hurt when he took a bit hit from Calgary's Trevor Lewis and Caufield was ruled out with an upper-body injury after featuring for just 8:05 in the game. Montreal eventually got a 2-1 shootout win without Caufield, but he's the team's leading goal-scorer and it's going to be a bad blow if the 21-year-old is forced to miss time. Caufield is on 16 goals and 25 points for the year with 96 shots. Mike Hoffman picked up most of Caufield's minutes on the first line Monday and he could find himself in a bigger role again for Wednesday's clash with the Senators.--Taavi Pailk - RotoBaller
