Stewart-Haas Racing's Clint Bowyer will be making his 28th-career start at ISM Raceway on Sunday in the TicketGuardian 500. He is still searching for that elusive first checkered flag at the track, posting just two top-5 finishes, seven top-10s, only 22 laps led and a mediocre 19.0 Average-Finish Position over his 27 career starts. To be fair, he ran in some rather inferior equipment for a season or two prior to landing with SHR. However, he continued to look uncomfortable at the track in qualifying, mustering just a 136.560 mph top speed to check in 26th for Sunday's starting grid.
