4 years agoThe Carolina Panthers have officially ruled out running back Christian McCaffrey (shoulder) for Week 11 against the Lions. McCaffrey returned in Week 8 after being on Injured Reserve with a high-ankle sprain suffered in Week 2, but he'll now miss his second straight game with a shoulder ailment suffered in his return in Week 8. The All-Pro running back will hopefully be ready to play in Week 12 against the Vikings. Mike Davis has filled in admirably as Carolina's featured back with McCaffrey beat up this year. The 27-year-old from South Carolina has averaged 4.2 yards per carry on 92 rushing attempts for 382 yards and two touchdowns in 10 games. He's also caught 47 passes for 290 yards and two more scores. He'll once again have RB1 upside in a dream matchup against Detroit's weak defense on Sunday.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
