4 years agoCarolina Panthers head coach Matt Rhule said that he doesn't expect running back Christian McCaffrey (quadriceps, shoulder) to play in Week 14 against the Broncos. Fantasy managers that were hoping to get McCaffrey back for the start of the fantasy postseason will be very disappointed. It'll be the fourth straight missed game for the All-Pro after he also missed six games earlier in the year with a high-ankle sprain. McCaffrey just can't get back on the field. The 24-year-old tweaked his quad in practice last week, and it looks like Carolina will play it safe with the face of their franchise. Backup Mike Davis will be the featured back yet again on Sunday if McCaffrey is inactive. Denver's rush defense has been vulnerable in recent weeks, giving Davis plug-and-play RB2 value.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
