3 years agoThe Boston Red Sox placed infielder Christian Arroyo (hamstring) on the 10-day injured list on Monday with a hamstring strain and activated utility man Danny Santana (quadriceps) from the 10-day injured list in a corresponding move. Arroyo injured himself while stretching for a ball on Sunday and is expected to miss more than 10 days. The 26-year-old has been having a fine season, hitting .271/.327/.465 with six home runs and 25 RBI, and he's worth stashing for infield depth in deep mixed and AL-only leagues. In his absence, we should see some combination of Kike Hernandez and Michael Chavis at the keystone. Hernandez won't help much in average or on-base percentage, but he has 11 home runs and 30 RBI and is the better bet for power production.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
