Chris Herndon IV Won't Practice Wednesday
5 years agoNew York Jets tight end Chris Herndon IV (hamstring), who is eligible to return in Week 6 from his suspension, will not practice on Wednesday after injuring himself running routes last week. Head coach Adam Gase said "it's not ideal," and it's not looking good for Herndon's chances of making his season debut in Week 6 against the Cowboys. It's really disappointing for tight end-needy fantasy teams that have been stashing Herndon. He could have TE1 potential whenever he gets on the field, but it doesn't appear that'll be this weekend. Ryan Griffin should continue to be the team's top tight end until Herndon returns, but he doesn't have any fantasy appeal.
