Chiefs Still Have High Hopes For Josh Gordon
3 years agoKansas City Chiefs head coach Andy Reid said it's only a matter of time before wide receiver Josh Gordon becomes a productive part of the team's offense. Reid has told Gordon to stay patient. The 30-year-old did play a season-high 43% of the offensive snaps in Sunday night's big win over the division-rival Las Vegas Raiders, but he wasn't targeted at all. In his six games with KC this year, Gordon has caught one of his four targets for 11 yards. It's hard to take Reid at his word when the Chiefs have so many options and when they funnel targets to Tyreek Hill and tight end Travis Kelce most of the time. Then there's also Mecole Hardman, Byron Pringle and Demarcus Robinson for Gordon to contend with. We want to see it before we believe that Gordon can make noise for fantasy managers.
