Chase Young Won't Be Activated In Week 9
2 years agoWashington Commanders head coach Ron Rivera said "Chase Young had a very good week" but that he won't be activated from the Physically Unable to Perform list in time to make his season debut in Week 9 against the Minnesota Vikings. There are still some things Young needs to work on before the team will activate him, and they also need to make sure his football conditioning is up to par. The good news is the 23-year-old returned to practice on Wednesday and opened his 21-day window to be activated. The Commanders have said all along that they'll bring Young along slowly after he blew his knee out last year, so fantasy managers in IDP leagues shouldn't expect too much from him for the rest of his third NFL season.
