Chase Daniel Reaches Agreement With Lions
5 years agoThe Detroit Lions agreed to a three-year, $13.05 million deal with former Chicago Bears quarterback Chase Daniel on Tuesday, according to a source. The deal includes a voidable clause. Daniel spent the last two years in Chicago, playing in eight games behind Mitch Trubisky. He's also played with the Saints, Chiefs and Eagles, but now he'll head to Detroit and back up Matthew Stafford, who missed considerable time with a back injury in 2019. Daniel would only become a low-end QB2 in fantasy if Stafford misses any more time due to injury.
