Chase Claypool Downgraded To Out Against Packers
3 years agoPittsburgh Steelers wide receiver Chase Claypool (hamstring) has been downgraded to out in Week 4 against the Green Bay Packers after initially being listed as questionable. The good news is that Pittsburgh will have Diontae Johnson (knee) returning to the fold after he missed the Week 3 loss to the Cincinnati Bengals. JuJu Smith-Schuster (ribs) will also be available after being on the injury report all week. With Claypool sidelined, James Washington should serve as the team's No. 3 receiver, and he's worth a look as a flex consideration in deeper formats in a game in which the Steelers will likely have to throw often. With Johnson out last week, Washington played 79.5 percent of the offensive snaps, second only behind Claypool.
