Cardinals Want To Get Andy Isabella More Involved
5 years agoArizona Cardinals head coach Kliff Kingsbury said that rookie wide receiver Andy Isabella continues to work hard, and the team's plan is to get him more involved. The team's second-round pick only played nine offensive snaps with both Christian Kirk and Damiere Byrd sidelined in Week 5, and he hasn't been targeted in the passing game all year. He has three rushing attempts on the season. Kingsbury said the team might've made it tougher on Isabella in his rookie season by using him in too many spots in training camp. If Isabella wasn't involved in the offense without Kirk and Byrd in there, there's not much hope for him carving out a fantasy role in redraft leagues. He remains a stash candidate in only dynasty/keeper leagues with Kirk and Byrd likely to return in Week 6 against the Falcons.
