Cameron Smith Has Had Success at Majors During His Young Career
7 years agoCameron Smith will enter the U.S. Open this week having produced two career top-five finishes at Major tournaments. What is possibly the most impressive part of that stat is that Smith has done this through just seven career tries. The 24-year-old had a T5 showing during this year's Masters and a T4 during the 2015 U.S. Open, a tournament that put the young Australian golfer on the map. After a blistering start to begin this season, Smith has been trying to find his form as of late, which includes missing his last three cuts. Smith's biggest struggle has been his tee to green stats, where he has lost 5.96 strokes, on average, compared to the field over his previous three tournaments. At his $7,500 price tag on DraftKings, Smith makes for a risky selection based off of his current form.
