Cairo Santos Practices In Full Thursday
3 years agoChicago Bears kicker Cairo Santos (illness) was able to return to a full practice on Thursday after he missed Wednesday's session due to an illness. Santos should be completely fine to kick for the Bears this Sunday night against the Green Bay Packers. The 30-year-old veteran has missed only three of 19 field-goal attempts and one of his 20 extra-point tries this year, but an accurate kicker on a bad offense won't do much for fantasy managers. The Bears will be getting rookie first-round quarterback Justin Fields (ribs) back, but he's struggled to get this offense moving consistently in his first year in the NFL. With the Packers defense allowing only 20.2 points per game, Santos shouldn't be started in fantasy in Week 14.
