Bubba Chandler Strikes Out Eight Across Five Shutout Frames
Bubba Chandler continued his impressive start to the Triple-A regular season by logging five shutout innings against Nashville on Friday evening. In this start, Chandler struck out eight batters and allowed just four hits and one walk. This was a great sign to see Chandler command his pitches as he allowed 13 free passes over his last 18 1/3 innings, entering Friday's game. Through 48 2/3 innings with Indianapolis, the No. 2-ranked prospect in the sport has posted a stellar 2.03 ERA with a 1.07 WHIP. During this stint, he has struck out 69 batters and allowed 21 walks. During his first stint in Triple-A in 2024, Chandler enjoyed similar success, holding a 1.83 ERA with a 1.04 WHIP. He should be viewed as a high-priority stash candidate in all formats.
