Bryson DeChambeau Comes Into the U.S. Open on Fire
7 years agoThere may be no hotter player in the world right now than Bryson DeChambeau. The 24-year-old American golfer is coming into the U.S. Open off of a win at the Memorial Tournament and has produced three additional top-five finishes since March. In DeChambeau's last 24 rounds compared to the field, he ranks fourth in strokes gained approach, fifth in bogey avoidance, eighth in par-four scoring, 10th in driving distance and 12th in strokes gained off the tee. The stats above indicate just how vast of a grasp DeChambeau currently has on his all-around game, and because of that, he will be one of the most popular players across the DFS board. DeChambeau has only made one of his three career cuts at U.S. Open venues, but he has never been as in form or as good of a player as he currently is. Our only concern of the 22nd-ranked golfer in the world would be his lack of driving accuracy. U.S. Open courses demand length and precision, and DeChambeau has been a bit wild with his driver as of late.
