Broncos Give Mike McGlinchey A Five-Year Deal
2 years agoThe Denver Broncos agreed with free-agent right tackle Mike McGlinchey on a massive five-year deal worth $87.5 million on Monday, according to a source. The deal includes over $50 million guaranteed. The Broncos ponied up and paid McGlinchey and offensive guard Ben Powers in order to improve their offensive line on the first day of free agency on Monday. The 28-year-old McGlinchey was the ninth overall pick in the 2018 draft by the San Francisco 49ers, and he spent the last five years in San Francisco. He's known as more of a run blocker and his addition should make life easier on Denver's ground game and quarterback Russell Wilson.
