The Atlanta Braves signed manager Brian Snitker to a contract extension on Friday that will take him through the 2023 season. The deal includes a club option for the 2024 season. It's well-deserved, as Snitker has managed the team to three straight National League East division titles after they won just on division crown from 2006-17. The Braves have gone 353-317 (.527 winning percentage) in Snitker's five-year tenure as the skipper. The 2021 season will be his 45th in the Braves organization. Snitker played for Atlanta in the minors and has filled various roles in the organization since then, both in the minors and majors. He took over for Fredi Gonzalez as the interim manager on May 17, 2016, and won the NL Manager of the Year in 2018.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBallerRead More News
