Brian Dozier Looks To Remain Elite Fantasy Second Baseman
7 years agoMinnesota Twins second baseman Brian Dozier has developed into one of the better power-hitting second basemen in all of baseball. The veteran infielder turned in another excellent season for the Twins in 2017, slashing .271/.359/.498 with 34 homers, 106 runs, 93 RBI, and 16 stolen bases. The .271 batting average was the highest of Dozier's career. That also gives Dozier 76 homers over the last two seasons, establishing him as one of the most dangerous fantasy second basemen in baseball. Dozier will turn 31 early in the 2018 season and should still have several years left in his prime. Dozier contributes fantasy numbers across the board and should be drafted as one of the top second basemen this season.
