Christopher Bell was the driver to beat at Phoenix Raceway during the Shriners Children's 500. Beginning the race from the 11th position, Bell quickly showed that he had one of the top cars in the field as he made it all the way up to fourth at the end of stage one, scoring stage points. In the second stage, Bell took the lead on lap 94, and despite some challenges from William Byron and Joey Logano, he went on to win the second stage and earn more stage points. Bell would get challenged for the lead by several drivers during the final stage, but always ran towards the front, even through pit stops. The No. 20 Toyota driver was challenged by his teammate, Denny Hamlin, on the race's final restart. Hamlin nearly beat Bell as he kept the No. 20 side-by-side on the final corner, but the two made contact, and Bell barely edged Hamlin for the win in one of the closest finishes in Phoenix history. Bell won at Phoenix for the second time in his Cup career and won his third consecutive race of the 2025 season.--Sean Engel - RotoBaller
