Montreal Canadiens right wing Brendan Gallagher scored a goal in the win over Dallas on Tuesday night. It was Gallagher’s second goal in as many games and fifth goal in the last seven games. He has a 20 percent shooting percentage over those seven games, which is much higher than his 11.1 percent on the season, but it indicates that the coming regression should not be severe. Gallagher is leading the Canadiens in shots with 235 this year and 25 in the last seven games, so there is every reason to believe he will continue to produce at a similar, if slightly reduced, pace. Montreal’s next game comes Thursday night against a Pittsburgh team that will be playing on back-to-back nights and may be without starter Matt Murray. Continue to ride Gallagher while he is on this hot streak.--Russ Ivanac - RotoBaller
