Breece Hall's Promising Rookie Year Is Over
2 years agoTests on Monday confirmed that New York Jets rookie running back Breece Hall (knee) tore his ACL in the Week 7 win over the Denver Broncos, according to a source. Hall also suffered a meniscus injury and will miss the rest of the 2022 season. It's a huge blow to the Jets, Hall and fantasy managers alike. It didn't take long for the 21-year-old to take over as Gang Green's lead back in his rookie campaign, and he'll finish with an impressive 463 yards and four rushing touchdowns on 80 carries while also adding 19 catches for 218 yards and a score in his seven games. Michael Carter will now take over lead-back duties in New York, with Ty Johnson looking at an increased role behind Carter in the backfield. If Carter is available in your league, he should be your No. 1 waiver priority heading into Week 8.
