Brandon Nimmo Continues Solid June With Homer Tuesday
6 months agoNew York Mets outfielder Brandon Nimmo continued his hot offensive June in Tuesday's 9-7 win over the Yankees. Nimmo went 1-for-4 with a two-run home run, three RBI, a walk, and a strikeout. Nimmo got in on the slugfest in the fourth inning, lining a Gerrit Cole offering into the right-field seats for the team's fourth HR. The 31-year-old has picked things up in June after a slow start to the season, slashing .321/.384/.590 with five HR and 17 RBI in 78 at-bats. He has been a reliable fantasy option throughout his career and thankfully appears to have gotten back on that track in June.
