Brandon Marsh Back In Lineup, J.T. Realmuto Resting
2 years agoPhiladelphia Phillies outfielder Brandon Marsh (shoulder) is back in the starting lineup on Wednesday against right-hander Zac Gallen and the Arizona Diamondbacks, starting in center field and batting eighth. Meanwhile, catcher J.T. Realmuto will take the day off. In his absence, Garrett Stubbs will do the catching while batting in the nine-hole. Marsh missed the last three games with right-shoulder inflammation, and he'll return in a very tough matchup against Gallen. The 25-year-old will return to a .262 average (34-for-130) with eight doubles, a league-high four triples, four home runs, 16 RBI and three steals in 45 games played. He's cooled off considerably, though, with just one hit and 11 strikeouts in his last 26 at-bats over 11 games. Fantasy managers should probably keep him on the bench for now.
