Brandon Kintzler Exits Game Saturday with Forearm Tightness
7 years agoWashington Nationals reliever Brandon Kintzler left Saturday's game with a tight forearm after throwing only six pitches reports Dan Kolko of MASN. Kolko says that Kintzler will undergo an MRI tomorrow to check for damage. Over 28 innings of work entering Saturday, Kintzler had two saves and 12 holds — tied for fourth-most in the majors — while posting a 6.8 K/9 for his highest rate since 2015. Owners in leagues that count saves-plus-holds will want to start taking a look at the waiver-wire in case this injury ends up landing Kintzler on the DL for an extended period of time.
