Boston Red Sox left-handed pitching prospect Brandon Clarke was sharp in his High-A debut on Wednesday. In this outing, the southpaw tossed four 2/3 innings of one-run ball (zero earned) and allowed just one hit and no walks. He struck out seven batters. This was an impressive start for the 22-year-old who made his professional debut earlier this summer at Low-A. Clarke only needed nine 2/3 innings of work at Low-A to prove he was ready for a promotion. Across this stint, the left-handed pitcher allowed just one run and posted a near-perfect 17:2 K:BB. Fantasy managers should monitor Clarke's progression with High-A as he will likely continue to climb prospect boards throughout the summer, given his impressive start.--Andy Smith - RotoBallerRead More News
