Brandin Cooks Given Questionable Tag In Week 9
2 years agoHouston Texans wide receiver Brandin Cooks (wrist) is listed as questionable to face the undefeated Philadelphia Phillies on Thursday night to kick off Week 9 action. Cooks practiced in full on Monday but then was listed as a DNP the last two days for personal reasons on top of the wrist injury. The 29-year-old played through the injury in the Week 8 loss to the Tennessee Titans and caught four passes for 73 yards without Nico Collins (groin) active. Collins will be out again this week, so Cooks should receive a healthy amount of targets in a game in which Houston will likely have to throw often. There's a chance that Cooks could be unhappy with the organization because he wasn't traded on Tuesday, but it's unclear if that will lead to him being a healthy scratch Thursday. Check back when inactives are released tomorrow.
