Bobby Miller To Get The Ball Again On Sunday
12 months agoLos Angeles Dodgers rookie hurler Bobby Miller tossed another gem on Monday against the Washington Nationals, going six innings, allowing one run on four hits and a walk, and striking out four, earning his second win of the season in as many starts. He now owns a 1.64 ERA, 0.91 WHIP, and 21.4% strikeout rate. According to J.P. Hoornstra of SportsNet LA, Miller will get another chance on Sunday, starting against the New York Yankees. It'll be a good test for the 24-year-old, who was the club's second-best prospect before his promotion, as per MLB Pipeline. Manager Dave Roberts hasn't confirmed if Miller will be a mainstay in the rotation this season, but if he keeps pitching this well, he might not have a choice.
