The Chicago Bears placed quarterback Andy Dalton on the Reserve/COVID-19 list on Friday. Dalton was inactive due to a hand injury in the Week 14 loss to the Green Bay Packers, and now he's unlikely to be available again unless he tests negative before the Monday night game against the Minnesota Vikings in Week 15. The 34-year-old Red Rifle was predictably mediocre under center as he filled in for rookie Justin Fields in Weeks 12 and 13. Nick Foles is likely to be Fields' backup on Monday night unless Dalton clears the COVID protocols this weekend.
