Bears Lose Two Left Tackles To Injury Sunday Night
3 years agoChicago Bears left tackle Jason Peters (quadriceps) and offensive tackle Larry Borom (ankle) were both removed from the Sunday night game against the Los Angeles Rams due to injury. Peters, the starter, is questionable to return, while Borom is listed as doubtful. The 39-year-old Peters joined the team late in training camp and probably isn't in the best game condition, but these injuries shouldn't be taken lightly, as the Bears tackle depth was very thin to begin with. Elijah Wilkinson will likely be asked to hold down the left tackle spot if Peters and Borom cannot return. It's basically a nightmare situation for Chicago's offensive line in front of quarterback Andy Dalton against a nasty pass-rushing unit in the Rams.
