Bears Evaluating QB Position Heading Into Bye Week
4 years agoChicago Bears head coach Matt Nagy said he is evaluating the team's quarterback position as the team enters their bye week, adding "everything's on the table" in regards to the position. Nick Foles (hip) hasn't been as effective as the team had hoped and was carted off the field on Monday night after landing hard on his hip/glute, although the injury isn't believed to be serious and he's day-to-day. Mitchell Trubisky (shoulder) hasn't started since Week 3 when he was benched for Foles, and he's currently battling a shoulder ailment. Chicago has lost four straight games and Foles has thrown seven touchdowns and seven interceptions for a passer rating below 80 from Weeks 4-10. Whether it's Foles or Trubisky under center in Week 12 against the Packers, fantasy managers in single-QB leagues can continue to ignore the Bears situation under center.
