Rams Optimistic About Terrance Ferguson's Status for Divisional Round
Los Angeles Rams head coach Sean McVay said on Monday that he's optimistic that rookie tight end Terrance Ferguson (hamstring) will play against the Chicago Bears on Sunday in the Divisional Round of the playoffs, according to Gary Klein of The Los Angeles Times. Ferguson suffered a hamstring injury in Week 17 and has missed the last two games, including Saturday's Wild-Card victory over the Carolina Panthers on the road. The 22-year-old rookie tight end scored touchdowns in each of the last two games that he played in against the Atlanta Falcons and Seattle Seahawks, but that was also when Tyler Higbee was still on Injured Reserve. Higbee is now back in the fold, and the Rams also have Colby Parkinson at the position, which will likely leave a very small role for Ferguson if he returns in the Divisional Round this Sunday in Chicago.
