4 years agoThe Chicago Bears are signing quarterback Kyle Sloter to their practice squad on Monday, according to a source. The Bears are adding some more quarterback insurance with Mitchell Trubisky (shoulder) possibly missing more time with a shoulder injury that he suffered on his one play in Week 8. Tyler Bray was brought up to the active roster to back up Nick Foles in Week 9 with Trubisky inactive. Sloter, 26, has yet to play a snap in a regular season NFL game and he's unlikely to do so in Chicago unless something goes terribly wrong.
