Azeez Al-Shaair Expected To Miss Final Two Games
3 years agoSan Francisco 49ers linebacker Azeez Al-Shaair (knee) suffered a knee sprain in last week's loss to the Tennessee Titans and is expected to miss at least the final two games of the regular season. But if the 49ers are able to get into the postseason, there's at least a chance that they could get Al-Shaair back by then. Defensive tackle D.J. Jones (ankle) will be limited this week with an ankle injury. Al-Shaair has started all 13 of his games played for the Niners defense this year and has been very strong, recording 102 tackles (58 solo), nine tackles for loss, two QB hits, one interception, five passes defensed, one forced fumble, two fumble recoveries and two sacks. Even without Al-Shaair in Week 17 against the Houston Texans, the 49ers defense should be a strong play in fantasy.
