Austin Ekeler May Get Bottled Up
6 years agoLos Angeles Chargers running back Austin Ekeler is a big play waiting to happen at any time, but he's got a surprisingly customized matchup waiting for him this week. One of Ekeler's favorite ways of doing damage is as a sneaky receiver coming out of the backfield, allowing him the space to juke and jive his way down the field for huge chunks of yards. Unfortunately, while Tennessee is susceptible to big runs, they're impressively capable of locking down RBs in the passing game. The Titans have allowed the fourth fewest receiving yards to opposing running backs this year, and they've yet to allow a TD reception to an opposing back. Ekeler is still a candidate for an explosive game, but Tennessee may prove to be his kryptonite.
