Austin Dillon Crashes Late, Finishes 31st In Race One At Michigan
4 years agoRichard Childress Racing's Austin Dillon finished in the 31st position after a late wreck in Saturday's FireKeepers Casino 400 at Michigan International Speedway. Dillon was turned by the No. 95 of Christopher Bell after a late restart. Dillon was then struck by a couple of other cars and limped home to the finish. Dillon had a quiet, but solid race up to that point, running around 15th. Dillon will officially start Sunday's Consumers Energy 400 from the 31st position, but will most likely go to a back-up car, and start at the rear. Dillon is a slam-dunk DFS pick for race two at MIS. He is criminally under-priced, way below average cost, and will have the highest position differential upside of anyone in the field. The pricing almost seems too good to be true, but Dillon is a building block for a winning lineup in Sunday's race.
