Astros Showing Interest In Marcell Ozuna
Yordan Alvarez will likely enter next season as Houston's regular designated hitter after having arthroscopic surgery on both of his knees in August, so the Astros would need to decide if they are comfortable using Ozuna in left field. The 30-year-old slugger is a liability on defense, but he slashed .338/.431/.636 with 18 home runs and 56 RBI in 228 at-bats in the shortened 2020 season.

The Houston Astros have expressed interest in free-agent outfielder Marcell Ozuna. After a big season with the Braves in 2020, at least 10 teams are interested in signing Ozuna. The Astros could sign Jackie Bradley Jr. to play center field with George Springer likely leaving in free agency, but they could also target Ozuna for left field with Michael Brantley also being a free agent.
