Stewart-Haas Racing driver Aric Almirola posted a best speed of 173.164 mph during qualifying on Saturday at Pocono Raceway, qualifying for the third position in Sunday's Gander RV 400 in Long Pond. Almirola brought it home 10th back on June 2 in the first stop at Pocono, and he has two top-10 finishes in his past three starts at the Tricky Triangle. He failed to post a Top 10 in his first 11 Cup starts at Pocono, however, and he has a dismal 24.57 Average-Finish Position in 14 starts overall in Long Pond while totaling just two laps led.--Daniel Dobish
