Carolina Hurricanes goaltender Antti Raanta suffered an upper-body injury in Wednesday's Game 2 against Boston. He left in the first period after David Pastrnak ran into him. Raanta, who was blooded by the collision, saved all six shots he faced before exiting the game. Pyotr Kochetkov came in and guided the Hurricanes to a 5-2 victory with 30 saves. The Hurricanes became the second team in league history to have two different goalies each record his first playoff win in the first two games of a postseason. Carolina head coach Rod Brind'Amour has said that Raanta hasn't entered concussion protocols, which is great news, but is status for Friday's Game 3 is unclear. The team is already without starter Frederik Andersen (lower body), although he is expected to return at some point in the series.--Taavi Pailk - RotoBaller
