Antonio Brown Won't Go On Exempt List

Because New England Patriots wide receiver Antonio Brown is facing a civil lawsuit and not criminal charges, the NFL won't put him on the commissioner's exempt list at this time, according to multiple reports on Friday. It means that he'll be eligible to make his season debut with the Pats in Week 2 against the Dolphins. Brown could go on the exempt list eventually, but it appears he's in the clear to play this Sunday, where he'll be risk/reward WR3. Without much time to learn the team's offense, there's a possibility that he'll have his snaps limited. Brown's presence is mostly bad news for Phillip Dorsett.
