Anthony DeSclafani Activated From DL, Will Start Tuesday
7 years agoThe Cincinnati Reds activated right-hander Anthony DeSclafani (oblique) from the disabled list, and he will make his 2018 debut on Tuesday against the Colorado Rockies. DeSclafani has been sidelined all season after straining his oblique during spring training. The team optioned right-hander Jackson Stephens in a corresponding move to make room for DeSclafani on the 25-man roster. DeSclafani hasn't pitched in the big leagues since the 2016 season, as he missed all of 2017 with a partially torn ulnar collateral ligament in his right elbow. Fantasy owners should be in wait-and-see mode before considering putting him on the active roster.
