Toronto Maple Leafs forward Andreas Johnsson scored his first NHL goal in the 4-0 win over the Montreal Canadiens. Johnsson was acquired by the Maple Leafs in the 2013 Entry Draft with the 202nd overall, seventh-round pick and has worked his way to become another one of the Maple Leafs promising prospects. In the AHL this year, the 23-year-old had 54 points in 54 games, including 26 goals, and is developing into a scoring winger that the Leafs could really use if James van Riemsdyk decides to opt for free agency this season. While Johnsson does not hold much value currently, he is a good add for rebuilding teams in keeper leagues or dynasty leagues.--CadenRead More News
