Alex Noren entered the final round in a share of sixth place at the Open Championship, but a three-over 74 slid the Swede down the leaderboard and into a share of 17th. Noren, who came into Carnoustie as a real sleeper to capture the championship, will undoubtedly be disappointed with how he closed the show on Sunday. While four strokes is a significant deficit, Noren has been known for his aptitude to come out of nowhere to capture the title.
