Adam Hadwin Continues to Lead PGA Tour in Consecutive Cuts Made
7 years ago Adam Hadwin extended his consecutive cuts made streak to 19 in a row this weekend at the Memorial Tournament. Unfortunately, in the process, he suffered the dreaded MDF Saturday finish. Hadwin shot Thursday and Friday rounds of 74 and 70, respectively, placing him at even-par for the tournament and one shot clear of the cut line. Over 78 players made the Friday cut, so the MDF rule kicked in for Saturday's round. Hadwin only managed to shoot a one-over 73 on Saturday and missed the secondary cut by one stroke. The 30-year-old Canadian gets credit for the made cut and will get paid for his finish but was not able to compete in the final round. Hadwin will next tee it up at the U.S. Open, a tournament he has failed to produce a top 35 finish at in his career.
