A.J. Pollock Works Out Friday
6 years agoLos Angeles Dodgers outfielder A.J. Pollock (elbow), who had the PICC removed from his elbow on Wednesday, threw from 90 feet and did some agility drills with trainers on Friday. It's nice to see Pollock make some progress, but he still is several weeks away from a potential return to the Blue. He's been out since April 28 and was hitting just .223/.287/.330 with two home runs, 13 RBI and no stolen bases in 115 plate appearances in his first season with the Dodgers. Pollock's intriguing blend of power and speed makes him relevant in most leagues when he's healthy in a potent Dodgers lineup, so consider adding him off the waiver wire when he gets closer to a return. Alex Verdugo has stepped up and become relevant in all leagues in Pollock's absence.
