49ers Work Out A Trio Of Receivers
2 years agoThe San Francisco 49ers worked out veteran free-agent wide receivers Mohamed Sanu, Adam Humphries and Tajae Sharpe on Monday. The Niners were without Deebo Samuel (hamstring) and Jauan Jennings (hamstring) in the Week 8 win over the division-rival Los Angeles Rams, so they're looking for some more depth at the position heading into their bye in Week 9. It remains to be seen if Samuel and Jennings will be ready to return in Week 10 against the Los Angeles Chargers. Sanu has familiarity with San Fran, having played eight games for the team last year when he caught 15 of 24 targets for 177 yards and no touchdowns. Sharpe had 230 receiving yards in 15 games for the Atlanta Falcons in 2021, while Humphries had 383 yards on 41 catches in 17 games for the Washington Commanders.
