4 years agoSan Francisco 49ers head coach Kyle Shanahan said that cornerback Richard Sherman (calf) will not play in Week 10 against the Saints after returning to practice off the Injured Reserve. However, Shanahan feels good about Sherman potentially returning in Week 12 against the Rams after the team's bye in Week 11. The All-Pro 32-year-old hasn't played since injuring his calf in Week 1. San Francisco's defense has been hurt by injuries to key players all year, so they'll surely welcome Sherman back to their secondary when he's ready to return. Safety Jaquiski Tartt went on IR this week as well, further depleting the secondary. It's best to avoid the 49ers Defense against a Saints offense that got All-Pro receiver Michael Thomas back last week.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
